Atonement: meh. I remember hearing all kindsa great stuff about this movie, so maybe I expected too much going in, but I was fairly bored by it. Great cinematography, there was a very cool steady-cam or crane shot that was about 5 minutes long - all one take, but other than that... Not much. Didn't really care for the characters, the "surprise" ending really wasn't all that, and most importantly, Kiera Knightly's just too damn thin.
